Farasha 1
This collection found its origin in a box full of colourful cut-out circles that I found in a flea market. I started to make different geometrical shapes, which led to the birth of butterfly shapes. I was immediately reminded of my father, who kept a large butterfly collection. The colours of the Middle Atlas, the hills of Lalla Takerkoust, the karmous cactus and the pure, graphical symbols I found in the small Berber villages also played a role in my inspiration. All these impressions served as a basis for the new collection.
